Starting this brand new week, right off the bat my group and I knew we needed to start planning exactly how our film opening would be so we can start getting the show on the road. Even though myself and another group member were not present, our team discussed the final outline and envisioned our plan. We just wanted a quick and simple outline to start planning the more in depth features later on.
OUTLINE
- Begin with several (constant) security camera shots
- character about to enter building, looking around, going in
- transition with an Over-the-shoulder shot - character looking at camera
- Enters building
- office shots, character scavenging, exploring inside
- gets the Twinkies and coffee
- credits begin to roll, names of directors and such
- wide shot of office to show area
- Camera follows character into factory
- using drone shots (maybe), have character scavenging around
- Continue with drone shots to transition to train tracks
- blinking train lights
- Last shot: character has the train pass in front of them
- title screen pops up
- idea: Losing Track
Even though we have our basic outline done, we still have much more to do. We will take it one step at a time and start figuring out our main character and their background next.
